GenNano is a scholarship contest from the National Science Foundation and the National Nanotechnology Intitiative. This contest is a great way to blend science into the STEM and non-STEM academies.

 

THIS IS DIFFERENT THAN OTHER SCIENCE COMPETITIONS! Instead of a science fair-type project, students CREATE A SUPERHERO with a science-power. Students will submit a written entry and either a comic strip or a 90-second video that illustrates the superhero in action. Prizes include a trip to Washington, DC in April for the 2018 USA Science & Engineering Festival and 1st place $1500 and 2nd place $1000. This is an individual OR a team of 2-3 contest.
