JROTC Raider Team

The JROTC  Raider Team is one of the extra-curricular competitive activities enrolled JROTC students can participate in.

What is the Raider Team?  Raider is a physical team competition.  Each Raider Competition is unique but normally consists of 5-7 physical events such as: 5 KM run, obstacle course, 1 rope bridge, physical team test.  A team consists of 8-10 competitors with 1-2 alternates.  We will compete with at least two teams in each raider meet (male and mixed teams).

When is Raider?  The Raider season starts AUG and will run until 5 NOV.  Practice is after school from MON-FRI 3:15 - 5:00 pm.

Competitions:  We will compete in 4-5 competitions in southwest Missouri and the season will culminate with the All-Service Raider National competition in Molena GA on 4 NOV.

JROTC Drill Team

The JROTC Drill Team is one of the extra-curricular competitive activities enrolled JROTC students can participate in.

What is the Drill Team?  The Drill Team competes in both armed and unarmed regulation drill and exhibition drill as well as color guard events .

When is Drill?  Drill will begin 6 SEP and end 6 March.  The drill team practices before school MON-FRI 0630-0800.  JROTC also offers an elective course in Drill: The Art of Exhibition Drill.  We recommend enrolled JROTC students that want to join the drill team take the drill class.

Competitions:  We will participate in 5-7 Drill meets throughout the SWMO area starting in early DEC through early MAR.  Drill competitions are always held on Saturdays.
