Posted Date: 12/13/24 (11:21 AM)

The Camdenton R-III School District is proud to announce Kyla Kirtley as the new Assistant Principal of Oak Ridge Intermediate School beginning in the 2025-2026 school year. Kirtley brings a wealth of experience and a deep connection to the Camdenton community, having spent much of her career in education within the district.

Kirtley currently serves as the K-12 Principal at Tuscumbia. Before transitioning into administration, Kirtley taught middle and high school English for several years, all within the Camdenton School District. Her dedication to education is reflected in her strong academic background, including a Bachelor’s in Middle School Language Arts from Central Methodist University, a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from William Woods University, and a Specialist in Administration from William Woods University. She is also nearly finished with her Doctorate in Educational Leadership, Curriculum, and Instruction from Evangel University.

"I am thrilled to return to the Camdenton community and join the Oak Ridge Intermediate family,” Kirtley shared. “Camdenton has always been home to me, and I look forward to working alongside the students, staff, and families to create an environment of growth and success."

She is married to Jimmy and has a daughter, Madison. The Kirtley family loves the Lake area, enjoying boating and participating in the many wonderful opportunities it offers.

The Camdenton R-III School District is confident that her leadership will continue to foster a positive learning environment for students and staff alike.
